    VIBE

Warm and relaxed atmosphere created by small bars divided by partitions. With traditional oak wooden paneling and bar counters as well as a relaxing garden, it’s perfect for intimate drinks with close friends throughout the year.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

Casual jeans and relaxed top are fine.

    GO HERE WITH

A small group of friends would be perfect to share a table.

    CROWD

30-something Notting Hill yuppie types (the bar is located just between Notting Hill and Kensington)

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The series of small rooms, the dark wood paneling, the historic building, and the semi-remote feel in a tranquil section of London. It is a perfect slice of traditional British country right in the city.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

Located just between Kensington and Notting Hill, this pub is not especially inconvenient, nor is it particularly close to anything specific. It will be a bit of a walk (or taxi fare) from anything else you are likely to visit in London.

    GOOD TO KNOW

The pub holds fun events including beer festivals and regular barbecues in the summer, serving lamb and fish kebabs and homemade burgers, among other favorites. Sunday roasts complete the traditional British pub feel.

    CLOSEST COMPS

Jerusalem Tavern (London); The Grenadier (London)
