WHY WE LIKE IT

The personalized service, the oh-so-British feel, and the location right across from Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park, perfect for that early morning jog.

AMENITY WE LOVE

The resistance pool is very cool and quite a perk for such a small hotel. Cleaning staff leaves all sorts of treats behind including homemade cookies, bonbons, mineral water, fruit, and candy.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

There is definitely a variety in room size and décor–the smallest room class (Superior Double) is quite small. We liked the décor of some (much) better than others.

GOOD TO KNOW

Themed guest rooms mean variety; you may want to call ahead or make your taste preferences known upon reserving your room to avoid disappointment. Our favorite is the Ascot Room, which is filled with elegant hats of the kind worn at the famous races. The hotel provides a service called “picnic in the Park,” which is a picnic basket that’s prepared and set up by one of the butlers in the park for you. Member of Small Leading Hotels of the World.
