    VIBE

This Notting Hill outpost of Daylesford’s fast-growing empire of ritzy-rustic farm shops is a café within an organic and fresh lifestyle themed shop. The designer eats, coming as they do from such purveyors of posh-organic lifestyles, are understandably much more fancy-schmancy than what you’d find on your average "simple and wholesome" farm café menu. Nonetheless, the fresher-than-fresh produce is back-to-basics pure, and many of the ingredients are produced on their own farm in Gloucester (they even mill their own flour and make their own cheddar). The shop pedals pricey garden products, homewares, produce, and the like to an urban uppercrust crowd.

    CROWD

Weekdays, this is a haven for ladies who lunch, but weekends bring in well-heeled families, worn-out nannies, and rambunctious kids galore.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

It’s organic-chic casual–a cute (organic wool?) sweater and jeans are fine.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The fresh-from-farm eats are great. On-the-street seating smack on Westbourne Grove makes for excellent relaxation and people watching in summer.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

We love the holistic lifestyle theme, but eating in a store environment is not ideal for every occasion.

    GOOD TO KNOW

They’ve got great takeaway service, good if you need a city picnic or a quick meal (or even if you are planning to entertain). Options include fixings from the organic butcher shop as well as from the rotisserie and charcuterie counters, deli and salad offerings, and pastries.
