    VIBE

Along the buzzing Exmouth Market, Moro dishes up yummy portions of Spanish-Moroccan fare in their cheery (if basic) digs. The team here has decked out their sunny space with spare wooden furnishings and old-school ceiling fans. Yet they've somehow managed to expertly skirt "sterile" and "spartan" with their basic design efforts and instead create an upbeat, homey atmosphere. Just like the market outside, it’s always bustling in here, but never sceney. A perfect spot for a convivial lunch with friends.

    CROWD

It’s a real mix. Lots of foodies come for the eats, though Moro also attracts tourists, hungry locals, and cool cats riding the trendy tapas wave.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

It’s really relaxed, most anything goes. Comfy pants, a cute cardi, and flats would do the trick.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The food is amazing–especially the tapas. Perfect for a relaxed lunch on a sunny day, particularly when they’ve got their windows open in the summer.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

When we were in town, evening reservations could only be made at restricted times (7:00pm and 9:15pm); we’d open it up a bit.

    GOOD TO KNOW

There’s also dining at the bar, good if you are going solo or can’t manage to score a table when it’s crowded. Moro also put out a very popular line of cookbooks, so if you like the eats, you can try your own hand at them.
