    VIBE

The foodie in-crowd swears by this casual off-shoot of the legendary St. John restaurant. The kitchen turns out the same creative “nose-to-tail” take on British eats, and the similarly all-white, stripped-bare look passes for no-fuss "decor." But the vibe here is more convivial and laidback. There’s also a counter selling their fresh breads and cakes and a collection of carefully sourced wines, in case you’d like to take a loaf or bottle for the road.

    CROWD

Mainly foodies of all stripes, though a few curious boys (and girls) from The City pop by too.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

It’s casual–smart jeans and nice top will work fine. (They’re more interested in the food than what you’re wearing anyway.)

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The food is divine, and they make intimidating offerings like offal interesting and easy to eat. The best British food in town.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

    Nothing!

    GOOD TO KNOW

The kitchen closes 4:00pm-6:00pm on weekends.
