    VIBE

The London Eye is the largest observation wheel (read: huge Ferris wheel) in the world. Along with other tourists, you will enjoy the view from one of 32 large glass capsules. While there are benches in the center of the capsule, the view is best enjoyed standing close to the glass (views of those seated are obstructed by those standing).

    GO HERE WITH

Your significant other at sunset or at night; your kids to show them a bit of London geography during the day.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The view is truly spectacular–on a clear day it can reach up to 25 miles (or as far as Windsor Castle!).

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The wait time and the crowds. The ride in the glass capsule can be just a bit too full to get a primo view or unobstructed photo.

    GOOD TO KNOW

It is worth investing in the Fast Track ticket which affords shorter queues and often more availability (especially if you don’t book in advance and are left to fight the crowds and massive lines at the base of the Eye; Fast Track has a separate, smoother ticket booth). If you want to enjoy the ride with a bit of bubbly, "Champagne Flights” are available daily every hour on the hour 12:00pm-8:00pm and include Fast Track status.
