    VIBE

The slick, shiny, and unrepentantly glam look of this Taiwanese joint makes it a laptop-toting hipster hub by day and an A-lister post-clubbing stopover by night. Though the menu of Taiwanese favorites makes expats swoon (their gooey shaved ice mountains are particularly authentic), it’s the trendy ambiance that’s the big draw, and the haughty beautiful people working the counter here know it.

    CROWD

Blend of 20- to 40-something cool kids, Taiwanese expats, and–later in the evening–glam clubbers. B-list Hong Kong pop stars are known to turn up after midnight.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

Aim for a hip (yet too-cool-to-care) look, like skinny jeans, funky accessories, and killer shoes.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

Those sweet, sticky mountains of shaved ice had us at hello, and the late-night people watching is enough to keep us hooked.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The service can be on the too-cool-to-care side (though at least the waitresses look ever-so-fab in their slick uniforms and matching avant-garde haircuts).

    GOOD TO KNOW

There’s free Wi-Fi at all locations. Located in the clubbing/karaoke/bowling alley complex at the West Gate of the Workers' Stadium, this is a popular late-night spot, and as such, it gets crowded from 10:00pm onwards.
