Talented tailor Xiao Fei whips up “are you sure this isn’t really Chanel?” copies of designer styles for reasonable prices. This is an excellent stop off for those who already know what they want: English-speaking Xiao Fei will be able to understand and execute your “vision” when you explain it, but she doesn’t create original designs. The small and basic shop space is often buzzing with a steady stream of expats.

The price is definitely right, and Xiao Fei’s copies are spot on. Go ahead: get a little wild with the tailoring…at only RMB 200 for a dress, it’s worth taking fashion risks.
GOOD TO KNOW
Definitely bring your own design (either a picture or an article of clothing to be copied), because the house design books here are so outdated, they’re not even fashionably retro. A selection of fabrics is available in the shop, but you can also bring your own if there’s something special you’d like to use. We had some alterations done here (great job and quick turnaround time too!).
