Sunny Sanlitun spa. Skipping out on the chichi-beyond-belief vibes that can predominate in this part of the city, Bodhi has a homey, laidback Southeast Asian feel. Treatments range from traditional Chinese massages to jetlag recovery to foot massages, but the Thai massages are the finest of the bunch. Treatment rooms are bright, clean, and contemporary.

WHY WE LIKE IT
Good spot for a quick, laidback massage to recharge after a busy day out on the town, especially since the Sanlitun location is convenient, the staff is efficient and friendly, and the prices are really reasonable. The spacious group treatment rooms also make this an ideal place to bring a few girlfriends for a social spa afternoon–we recommend traditional Chinese foot massages if you come with friends.

Besides the Thai and foot massages, the other massage offerings are hit or miss.

Complimentary fresh fruit juices and light snacks are whipped up by their in-house Thai chef (we’re talking sandwiches, bowls of noodles, fresh watermelon juice, and even honey water).
