    VIBE

This romantic, candlelit wine bar draws a wide variety of people; cool somethings mingle with some tourists and older people as well. Dark, subterranean space with stone and brick walls as well as an outdoor terrace. Cozy and intimate, it is counterintuitively lively as the eclectic mix of young and old enjoy their wine.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

Anything goes - jeans, dresses, slacks

    GO HERE WITH

The candlelit cavern is perfect for a date; a group would enjoy it as well.

    CROWD

Mix of Londoners and tourists that are a range of ages, no clear definable crowd.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

Tall romantic candles in wine bottles, long list of wines, dark stone walls, and small rooms with an intimate feel.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

Less echo could make conversations more intimate, but then the place would lose the romantic vibe.

    GOOD TO KNOW

Signs around the venue warn to watch for pickpockets, so keep an eye on your bags (though we had no problems). On the other hand, the spicy olives are delicious, you’ll want to lift some to take home with you.
