    VIBE

Legendary Beverly Hills Hotel lounge where Tinseltown power players dish on their pals, nibble posh bites, and sip extravagant cocktails. Inside, deep booths and low lighting keep intimate conversations hushed, while the outdoor trellised patio buzzes with an elite group of see-and-be-seeners. Live jazz and piano serenade from the afternoon onwards.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

We’d go for effortless casual glamour, like a stylish day dress and sandals paired with oversized sunglasses. Though this is one of the classiest joints in town, they are surprisingly relaxed about the dress code, so don’t lose (too much) sleep over your attire.

    CROWD

A mature mix of socialites, celebs, and international jetsetters, as well as a small handful of pretty young trendsetters. Note that the crowd does trend older here (at 30, we were some of the youngest in the room).

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The cachet of its iconic status on the Beverly Hills scene, the seductive cocktails, and the juicy power scene crowd.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The service runs hot and cold.

    GOOD TO KNOW

The weekend brunch here is lovely, especially if you can score a seat on the patio. The hotel is part of the Dorchester Collection, and as such you will recognize many of the signature cocktails from the bars of other hotels in the group (we went for the same flavored margarita that we enjoyed at Le Bar du Plaza Athenee in Paris).
