VIBE
Historic 1920s seafood shack that’s kept its atmospheric retro vibes after being remodeled to add panoramic views of the ocean, airy contemporary design elements, and swank table service. Yet, despite the menu featuring posh bites like roasted Maine lobster, the slick service, and the sky-high prices, The Lobster stays true to its down-to-earth roots with unpretentious (and at times downright rowdy) ambiance.
CROWD
Couples and families out for a special occasion mixed with a smattering of tourists. (Locals gravitate to the swinging lounge.)
WHAT WE WOULD WEAR
Dressy beach wear, like a cute sundress and chic sandals.

WHY WE LIKE IT
The views are stunning, and the seafood equally so.
WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE
It can get super noisy at peak times, like Saturday evening.
GOOD TO KNOW
An attached lounge offers a kicky nightlife scene for those looking to extend their evening out. Call ahead to find out what’s on the menu since it changes daily. For eco-concerned types, rest assured that all of the seafood they serve here is green certified.
