Relatively cheap rents have brought up-and-coming designers in droves as well, so you can try your hand at spotting the next big label.

Le Pink & Co. has a great selection of beauty products, with facials and other treatments offered in house. The naughty (yet nice) lingerie spot Bittersweet Butterfly is tucked away on nearby Micheltorena Street. And if you need a potent cup of joe to get you going, try Intelligentsia Coffee. While you’re at it, grab a cupcake at Lark Cake Shop, and pick up some cheese at the beautiful gourmet Cheese Shop of Silverlake.
