COMPLEMENTARY FACILITIESSauna; steam room
Located on the promenade level of the historic Beverly Hills Hotel, this diminutive spa offers six treatment rooms (including couples' suites and poolside cabanas), small steam rooms, and saunas. Besides pampering guests with a stellar La Prairie product range, they also offer complimentary fresh fruit, refreshing, purifying drinks, and access to a small "quiet room." The space is billed as "intimate," but some find it a little claustrophobia-inducing.

WHY WE LIKE IT
They really do go above and beyond (especially with the facials and massages), and the La Prairie products are fab (they give you samples, even if you are just getting a massage!). A music menu is offered so that you can choose the soundtrack for your treatment (we went with Enya, but loads of options are available).
WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE
They definitely need more space–the congestion in the "quiet" room is not ideal, and the co-ed waiting area can make some uncomfortable. Dressing/locker rooms are small.
GOOD TO KNOW
If you’re staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel, you can get in-room treatments as well. To book appointments, either call or do it through the website. (If you need to cancel, six hours' notice is required.)
