Celeb New York styling team Joel Warren (an expert colorist) and Edward Tricomi (a precision-snipping stylist) have brought their East Coast style sensibilities to LA. The cuts and colors are reliably fab, and their ever-expanding client list includes many of Hollywood’s most famous heads of hair. Despite their hordes of A-list fans, this hip salon team remains ever-laidback, fun, and funky, a nice change from scenier (and snootier) establishments in town. We like the high ceilings and big windows and light, loft-like décor.

As always with a haircut or color, your stylist is everything. Our cut wasn’t to die for, but most who go swear by this place. Be sure to talk to your stylist and lay out clear expectations before getting started.

GOOD TO KNOW

This is a great spot for group pampering, like birthdays or pre-wedding girly shindigs. If you’d rather a more private affair, they also offer in-home styling. Should you need to cancel your appointment, you’ll need to give them 24 hours notice. Hip young things should check out their new “Simply Student" packages, which are targeted at the under-25 set.
