The best-of-both-worlds location: it’s in a sweet SoHo spot close to tons of must-do’s but tucked away on a quiet side street. Also, the city views from upper-story rooms and the roof terrace are memorable. Kittichai room service is a plus too.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The rooms near the Thom Bar are noisy at night, and rooms in the more basic room classes are on the small side.

GOOD TO KNOW

Most baths are shower-only, but you can request a tub. Valet parking, airport transport, and chauffeured car service are all available. No pets allowed. 60 Thompson belongs to the Thompson Hotels group which also includes Thompson LES, Thompson Beverly Hills, and Hollywood Roosevelt, among others.
