This notoriously glamorous nightclub (with a tough door policy to match) has wooed the city’s choicest nightlifers (including big-name celebs) since it first opened its doors on Meatpacking’s club-packed streets. Decked out with grainy wood, marble (including an impressive fireplace), and padded walls to preserve sound, this dim, underground space consists of a long room separated into three themed areas. At the center, a dance floor bordered by zebra-print furniture, to the side a more intimate VIP Purple Room swathed in violet velvet, and upfront a lobby providing breathing room away from the dance scene. Though cocktails are offered, the tiny bar really just encourages bottle service (which is practically required for entry anyway).

Your best clubbing ensemble; definitely dress to impress. A flatteringly fitted dress, rockin’ heels, and flashy clutch should do the trick.

Tenjune has become a destination for would-be celeb DJs like Diddy, Lindsay Lohan, and Kanye West. The main foyer displays funky art for those looking to take a break from the dance floor. You may need to splash out a bit for it, but reserving a table is really the best way to ensure the night goes off without a hitch.
