    VIBE

Classic small town ice cream parlor serving up a full menu of frozen delights ranging from sorbet to ice cream to soft serve to fro-yo. There’s also a light lunch menu of sandwiches and soups (premade options are available for those who don’t have time to wait it out in the ice cream line), but most customers are just here for the ultra yummy cones. A recent revamp (prompted by a 2009 fire) has brought in cheery lime green interiors and a handful of eat-in tables.

    CROWD

Everyone! It’s a kid-heavy crowd, but even the likes of Donald Trump and Susan Lucci have been lured in by the delish treats at Sprinkles.

    WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

    It’s casual–pretty much anything goes.

    WHY WE LIKE IT

The ice cream, silly. We like to grab a cone to go and then window-shop the nearby boutiques while we eat it. Also, the sandwiches actually aren’t a bad option if we need to eat on the fly.

    WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

The long lines at peak times (like the end of a beach day).

    GOOD TO KNOW

Word to the wise: People once voted Sprinkles’ triple-chocolate supreme the best ice cream in the country.
