Andy Warhol meets Moroccan kitsch (see what clever things they did with the name there?) at this trendy pop art-bedecked North African lounge. In the afternoons, skinny-jeaned hipsters sprawl on the bright banquettes with plates of mezes and carafes of North African wine as they scope the mash-up of 1970s Arabic film posters and avant-garde acid art on the walls. In the evenings, a dressier set of cool kids pack in to perch on paint cans-cum-stools and shimmy to Euro-hip DJs as they sip the house specialty cocktails.

Très laidback trendy with a touch of Euro-boho; we’d use bright accessories or funky heels to liven up a designer jeans and black top look.

WHY WE LIKE IT

It’s the perfect spot to kick off an evening out with chilled drinks, or end it with pumped-up partying. In the summer, we like settling down with icy mojitos in the cute courtyard. While some have mentioned a pushy staff, we loved the surprisingly friendly service.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

It can be really crowded, especially when everyone’s trying to dance.

It’s just north of the Centre Pompidou, so if you don’t get enough modern art during your museum visit, swing by here for a bit more Warhol-esque fun.
