Though it’s called simply “Le Bar,” there’s nothing remotely simple about this magnificent chandeliered lounge in the Four Seasons George V. This is where the city’s most elegantly coiffed ladies and gents come to recline on plush red velvet sofas, sip impeccable classic cocktails, and watch the beau monde stroll past on posh Avenue Georges V.

WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

By day it’s smart casual, but it gets downright dressy after sunset; we’d wear a classic Parisian chic black getup during the day, but up our game to a cocktail dress later on.

WHY WE LIKE IT

We adore the Old World charms and perfectly mixed cocktails. This is an ideal spot for a business chat over drinks or an elegant pick-me-up after an afternoon around the Champs-Élysées.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

Not much.

GOOD TO KNOW

Though it’s located just off reception on the ground floor of the hotel, the vibe here is much more intimate and convivial than your average “lobby lounge.”
