VIBE

You’ll literally feel at home (or at least like you’re in the private home of a talented Italian chef) at this tiny six-table restaurant tucked away behind the Tuileries. Décor is nothing much (just a coat of creamy paint and some nifty Art Deco mirrors), and the menu amounts to a small chalkboard on the wall, but the charming service and gorgeous organic Italian fare more than make up for it.

CROWD

Although the cliquey fashion and media crowds like to hold court here, the laissez-faire attitude to reservations means that devoted locals and couples on the hunt for romance manage to score a large portion of the tables.

WHAT WE WOULD WEAR

It’s pretty casual; we’d wear dressy jeans or a low-key skirt and some artsy accessories.

Intimate ambiance, dreamy organic eats, “make yourself at home” service…what more could a girl want? Perfect for a lazy afternoon lunch or atmospheric date.

WHAT WE WOULD CHANGE

Would be nice if we could make reservations for lunch, and air conditioning would be appreciated on Paris’s sweltering summer afternoons.

GOOD TO KNOW

No reservations are allowed for lunch, and some dinner tables are held for walk-ins. Dogs allowed.
