A decade on and chef Hiroyuki Hiramatsu’s elegant fusion of French and Japanese culinary traditions continues to dazzle Paris’s most discerning gourmands with its complex yet delicate flavors. Over time, both the crisply minimalist dining room and the cuisine have taken an increasingly Gallic lilt, but friendly Japanese staff and inventive Asian-inspired presentations ensure that the cultural mix remains.

WHY WE LIKE IT

The friendly, gracious service won our hearts, and the refined fusion fare won our stomachs. We like to bring a date or a good friend and settle down into one of the deep, welcoming chairs for a leisurely meal and a couple bottles of wine.

It’s closed on weekends.

GOOD TO KNOW

It’s usually closed between Christmas and New Year's (check online for exact dates). Dogs are allowed. Besides his two other Restaurant Hiramatsu locations, chef Hiramatsu has his hand in 15+ ventures across Japan.
